在伊朗西北部一个名叫“堪多万”的小村落，当地人在原有火山喷发所形成的洞穴基础上进行再加工，建造现在一个独特的“山洞酒店”，这个山洞酒店位于山腰处，工人在原有地形的基础上，将它们开凿成宽敞奇特的房间。用这种传统的手工方式开凿一间客房，需要4个工人连续工作10个月才能完成。“山洞酒店”客房里的设施相当齐备，除了全套舒适的家具，还装备有地面采暖系统。而豪华的按摩浴缸，让你无法相信自己是住在山洞之中。
